· Based on part-time efforts of the college art teacher, investigated funding for developing non-credit offerings for the community
· Developed council made up of community leaders to advise the Center on programming
· Worked with Morehead State University in developing career development for women program
· Consulted county government and their senior citizen centers to develop programs; worked with the area development district to extend programs for the elderly to the five county area
· Procured funding from the Fund for Improvement of Postsecondary Education for developing satellite centers in three Pike County communities
· Developed driver education program with the help of the Pike County schools
· Initiated General Education Development classes in several locations
