I have not contacted you sooner because I am too busy reading. Your work transcends gender and identifies not only with the women of this region but the true feelings of the outsiders that would like to be one with these genuine people, however, perhaps, can never be...!
I am through approximately one hundred pages and hope to finish it tonight. As you know, three of my pre-doctoral fellows are natives of eastern Kentucky. This morning I purchased a copy of your book for each of them. They have heard me ask of them for the past two days if they ever heard of this or that phrase, and identified with many of the common excuses given to outsiders. For them, I feel your work will help these women become even finer than they are now.
